EOD-12 and 13
Single and Dual Timers

These timers automatically close the door after a preset time. Single timer is adjustable from 0.5 to 90 seconds. The Dual model is adjustable from 0.5 to 180 seconds and can be wired to control RED and GREEN warn signal lights to desired functions. Both timers will reset to 0.5 seconds each time an opening control is activated during timer cycle.

Magnetic Vehicle Loop Detectors
(Sarasota 215 B)

These are completely transistorized electronic units with dual function and a continuous automatic self-tuning feature. They are used for detecting the presence or passage of a vehicle over wire loops embedded in the roadway surface. When a vehicle passes over the loop, the unit will open the door. If during downward travel of the door, a vehicle passes over the loop, the door will reverse to the open position. Dual function permits two loops to be used. When the exterior loop is not required (overnight) one can turn the switch so that only the interior loop functions.

These can be used as opening and reversing devices. An infra-red light is emitted from the control to a reflector and back. When this beam is broken, the door will open. If during downward travel of the door a vehicle breaks the beam, the door will reverse to the fully open position.

Electro-mechanical Safety Edge

Installed on the bottom section of door. When it encounters an obstruction, the reversing switch is activated and the door reverses to a fully open position or can be wired to stop.

Electro-Pneumatic Instant Reverse or Stop System

When door, during downward travel, encounters and obstruction, the air switch is triggered, and electrical signal is sent the the operator via a coil cord and the door can be reversed or stopped. Includes an aluminum retainer, neoprene tubular weather strip, air hose, air switch and coil cord.

Surface Mounted Treadle

This opening and reversing device of durable construction is floor mounted and used in garages with excessive vehicular traffic (where hose would tear). It is activated when a vehicle drives over it.

Miller Safety Edge

Ultra-sensitive electro-mechanical safety edge. For use on doors in location where security is a priority. It is composed of 2 aluminum strips enclosed in a foam rubber housing, covered by vinyl and electronically heat seated at all seams. It is available in U shape for standard doors and T shape for rolling steel doors.

Traffic Lights

Available as a dual (red and green) set or a single (red or green). Lights are enclosed in a weatherproof housing and have eight inch diameter lenses. Galvanized mounting brackets are included. Standard operation: Red light on when door is moving up and down, green light on when open, both lights off when closed. Flashing signal is optional. Required voltage is 110 VAC. Available at an extra charge on 240 1PH and all 3 phase operators.

Explosion Proof Electro Pneumatic Instant
Reverse/Stop Switch

When door, during downward travel encounters and obstruction, the explosion proof are switch is sent a signal via the retractable air coil, and signals the operator to stop or reverse. (Instant reverse available on three phase operators only).

For use on jackshaft type operators. It is designed to be installed between the operator drive shaft and the door shaft to keep the drive chain tight.
