Mechanically-Operated, Pit-Mounted Dock Leveler

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The "D" SERIES/Mechanical is a pit-mounted dock leveler with a working range of 12" above to 12" below dock. The unit mechanically operated via a 4 spring counterbalance and DLM's CamControl� design. For greater safety, DLM's exclusive LipDrive� feature (patents pending) provides positive extension of the hinged lip during deck lift.

SIMPLE MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENTS:

The sophisticated design of the "D" SERIES/Mechanical allows all adjustments to be made via two nuts for counterbalance of the deck and one nut for counterbalance of the lip.

EASY OPERATION:

The"D" SERIES/Mechanical can be easily operated by one person. To activate the CamControl with the leveler in the stored position, the operator simply pulls the release ring at the right rear of the leveler deck. The 4 spring counterbalance provides an upward bias to smoothly lift the deck. The lip will automatically extend outward via DLM's exclusive LipDrive. The operator then walks along the deck, toward the lip, and the leveler and lip will float downward to rest securely on the trailer and provide a good working bridge. 

If the trailer is below dock level, the operator raises the leveler as above, then pulls the safety stop release ring, then walks down the deck as above.

After load is completed, the operator again pulls the release ring to raise the leveler and then walks down the leveler to bring it to rest in the stored position. The lip will automatically lower and position itself behind the night locks on the leveler frame.
